About the Author
Hassan Osman is an information security advisor with Ernst & Young
LLP’s Security & Technology Solutions practice where he helps
Fortune 500 clients assess, evaluate and implement solutions to protect
their information. He holds a Master of Science degree in Information
Security Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a
Bachelors degree in Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
He also holds the SANS GSEC certification. Hassan lives with his wife
in Dearborn, Michigan.
About the Foreword Author
Dena Haritos Tsamitis is the director of education, training, and outreach
of Carnegie Mellon CyLab, where she is responsible for designing and
developing awareness initiatives aimed at making 10 million citizens
"cyber-aware" worldwide. Tsamitis also leads the education
initiatives of the Situational Awareness for Everyone (SAFE) NSF center
at CyLab, which explores ways to improve computer defenses by incorporating
models of human, computer, and attack interactions into the defenses
themselves. Additionally, Tsamitis represents Carnegie Mellon University
on two prominent national task forces: the Department of Homeland Security
(DHS) Task Force for Information Security Education and Awareness and
the EDUCAUSE Security Education and Awareness Working Group.
